It all started when…

The 35-day shutdown during the Trump Administration made 800,000 federal government workers go without jobs or pay to survive. Amidst the constant stress and dismay over each additional day without pay, Rachel decided to redirect her energies and newfound “free-time” to start “Let’s Talk with Rachel”. Her mission is to raise awareness within her community on how politics can affect our everyday lives.

She inspires her peers with her comedic sense of humor while also serving as a policy expert, political scientist, educator and activist.
